There was no surprise when 10th ranked ratiopharm Ulm (6-7) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Brose Baskets (10-4) 100-91. They made 26-of-28 charity shots (92.9 percent) during the game. ratiopharm Ulm was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American-Montenegrin point guard Tyrese Rice (185-87, college: Boston Coll.) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 assists. American Augustine Rubit (200-89, college: S.Alabama) accounted for 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Five Brose Baskets players scored in double figures.
