The game in Kuala Lumpur was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Hong Kong Hong Kong ELL (4-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Malaysian Westports MD (3-2). Hong Kong ELL defeated Westports MD 89-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Westports MD. The best player for the winners was Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. American guard Marcus Elliott (191-84, college: Louisiana Tech) chipped in 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Hong Kong ELL players scored in double figures. Hong Kong ELL's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
