It was a great shooting night for Toyoda Gosei especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American-Irish Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) who added 7 points, 18 rebounds and 12 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Marcus Cousin (211-86, college: Houston) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and his fellow American import Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Iwate Big Bulls players scored in double figures. Toyoda Gosei have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Koshigaya A. Iwate Big Bulls lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 16 games lost. Toyoda Gosei will again meet at home Iwate Big Bulls (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Iwate Big Bulls will have a break next round.
