Bottom-ranked KTU managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they won against seventh-ranked Delikatesas in Joniskis 82-78. KTU made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Motiejus Syminas (200-99) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Adomas Sidarevicius (186-1) supported him with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 22 points and 9 assists by Mantvydas Zukauskas (193-98) did not help to save the game for Delikatesas. Giedrius Stankevicius (205-96) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Five KTU and four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. KTU maintains fifteenth position with 5-21 record. Delikatesas at the other side keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Silute. KTU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kaunas to the arena Zalgiris II.
