An interesting game for Ermis Agias (9-4) which hosted in Larissa 4th placed Ippokratis (8-5). Third ranked Ermis Agias managed to get a 5-point victory 74-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ippokratis. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian Rihards Kuksiks (201-88, college: Arizona St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Dimitris Lolas (203-86) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Ioannis Chatzinikolas (196-95) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Antonis Asimakopoulos (203-76) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Ippokratis. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ermis Agias maintains third place with 9-4 record behind leader Iraklis, which they share with Amyntas Dafnis. Newly promoted Ippokratis dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Kastoria. Ermis Agias is looking forward to face Kastoria (#5) on the road in the next round. Ippokratis will play against Diagoras D. in Athens and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
