Very predictable result when third ranked Karlsruhe SC (12-3) rolled over at home 9th ranked Fellbach (5-9) 105-73 on Saturday. Karlsruhe SC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fellbach's 22. Karlsruhe SC forced 26 Fellbach turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for American-Ghanian guard Bright Mensah (193-92, college: William Pater.) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Eyke Prahst (209-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Lasse Steinort (195-94, college: Kirtland CC) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward David Rotim (197-85) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Fellbach. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fellbach's coach Christopher Ferguson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Karlsruhe SC have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain third position in South-West with 12-3 record having just one point less than leader Duesseldorf. Fellbach lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. Karlsruhe SC will face league's leader Koblenz on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fellbach will play against TV Langen (#7) and hope to win that game.
