Regular Season Round 12: Feni Industries - Pelister Bitola 90-86

There was no surprise in Kavadarci where 10th ranked Pelister Bitola (1-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Feni Industries (7-4) 90-86 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Feni Industries looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 assists and American guard Kenney Funderburk (193-92, college: Columbus St.) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Feni Industries players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Gabe Bealer (198-95, college: Utah) with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and Montenegrin center Miko Golubovic (206-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Pelister Bitola's coach Predrag Sozovski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Feni Industries have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gostivar. Loser Pelister Bitola dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. Feni Industries will meet higher ranked Blokotehna (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pelister Bitola will play against the league's leader Rabotnicki (#1) and hope to win that game.
