A very interesting game took place in Schwenningen. It ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen (11-6) to fifth ranked Coburg (9-8) 85-82 on Saturday evening. American point guard Chase Adams (177-88, college: Pittsburgh) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Dino Dizdarevic (193-95) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) answered with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Panamanian forward Anell Alexis (200-90, college: Marist) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BV Villingen-Schwenningen. Five Coburg and four BV Villingen-Schwenningen players scored in double figures. Coburg moved-up to fourth place in South, which they share with Elchingen and Giessen 46ers II. Newly promoted BV Villingen-Schwenningen keeps the second position with six games lost. Coburg's next round opponent will be Loewen (#8) in Erfurt. BV Villingen-Schwenningen will play on the road against Fraport Skyliners II (#3) in Frankfurt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
