Regular Season Round 23: Rivne - Hoverla 82-73

An interesting game for Rivne-OSHVSM (17-3) which hosted in Rivne 4th placed Hoverla (10-8). First ranked Rivne-OSHVSM managed to get a 9-point victory 82-73. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-20 Hoverla's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 82-73 at the end of the game. Rivne-OSHVSM forced 26 Hoverla turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (195-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Rivne-OSHVSM. They maintain first place with 17-3 record. Hoverla lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Rivne-OSHVSM will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hoverla will play at home against Khimik-2 (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
