No shocking result in a game in Santander where sixth ranked Gallofa (9-5) edged 9th ranked La Fecha (5-10) 81-78 on Saturday. They outrebounded La Fecha 37-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American power forward Daniel Westbrook (208-95, college: Barton, NC) who scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bosnian Sandro Gacic (201-96) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alejandro Fisac (183-96) who recorded 21 points and guard Jorge Martinez (185-96) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
