Rather expected game in Aichi where 6th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (10-12) was defeated by third ranked Toyoda Gosei (17-5) 91-82 on Sunday. Toyoda Gosei looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American-Irish Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 22 rebounds and 15 assists for the winners and American Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Chris Olivier (203-92, college: Oklahoma St.) responded with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Toyoda Gosei have a solid series of three victories in a row.
