Ninth ranked Italian Armani Milano (10-11) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked Spanish Gran Canaria (6-15) 106-104 on Friday evening. Armani Milano outrebounded Gran Canaria 43-26 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gran Canaria was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Mike James (185-90, college: Lamar) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
