Very expected game in Madrid where 12th ranked Real Canoe (8-13) was defeated by seventh ranked CB Granada (13-8) 66-53 on Friday. The best player for the winners was the former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) who scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward David Iriarte (206-95) chipped in 9 points. CB Granada's coach Pablo Pin used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Jose-Miguel Perez (202-96) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and forward Ander Martinez (199-95, agency: Duran International) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively. CB Granada moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Real Canoe lost third consecutive game. Real Canoe at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Castello. CB Granada will meet at home Barca II (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Real Canoe will play against Araberri and hope to secure a win.
