Leader HLA Alicante delivered the sixteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Moron (9-12) 86-81 in Morón de la Frontera. The best player for the winners was American guard Devin Schmidt (193-94, college: Delta St., agency: Duran International) who scored 25 points. Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Tanner Omlid (196-93, college: W.Oregon) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. HLA Alicante will face league's second-placed Real Murcia on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
