Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Saint Vallier (13-8) defeated at home 11th ranked Recy Saint-Martin (7-15) 88-78 on Saturday. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for swingman Parfait NJiba (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. American power forward Derrick Barden-Jr (196-92, college: N.Colorado) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Dylan David (201-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian-American swingman Ebuka Anyaorah (193-90, college: N.C.Central) added 19 points in the effort for Recy Saint-Martin. Five Saint Vallier and four Recy Saint-Martin players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier maintains fifth position in Group A with 13-8 record.
