The best player for the winners was point guard Carlos Calvo (178-94) who scored 18 points and 5 assists. Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) chipped in 7 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Andreu Matali (204-81) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and American center Duby Okeke (203-94, college: Nebraska) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Menorca's coach Oriol Pages rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Azuqueca maintains sixth position in Silver with 11-9 record. Menorca at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth place with 12 games lost. Azuqueca will face Albacete (#8) at home in the next round.
