Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Mainz (4-13) lost on the road to sixth ranked Tuebingen II (9-9) 74-65 on Sunday. Tuebingen II forced 21 Mainz turnovers. Quite impressive performance for Serbian forward Aleksandar Nadjfeji (203-76) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Mirjan Broening (180-1) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Tuebingen II's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Kewan Beebe (183-93, college: Geneseo St.) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Fabian Bahlke (192-94) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Mainz. Tuebingen II moved-up to fifth place in South-West, which they share with Giessen. Mainz lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
