Second defeat of league's leader Souffelweyersheim (20-2) against second ranked Saint-Quentin (21-1) 70-65 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the 18-game winning streak of Souffelweyersheim. It was a key game for the top position in Group A. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-85, college: Pace) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Aldo Curti (180-87) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Cameroonian forward Frank Tchoubaye (198-92) added 19 points in the effort for Souffelweyersheim.
