There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Calvia (4-12) beat on the road bottom-ranked Valls Nutrion (6-10) 73-59 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Jose-Maria Morales (204-89) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Antonio Carrasco (198-84) who added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American center Ryan Edwards (216-95, college: Portland St.) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Josep Miguel (204-81) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Newly promoted Calvia maintains twelfth position in Group C-A with 4-12 record. Valls Nutrion lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Calvia will face Castellbisbal (#13) at home in the next round.
