Everything went according to plan when first ranked Raptors (43-16) defeated 4th placed Wizards (24-34) in Washington 129-120 on Wednesday. Raptors made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Raptors made 8 blocks. Wizards were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Point guard Kyle Lowry (183-86, college: Villanova) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 assists for the winners. Raptors' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 assists and forward Jabari Parker (203-95, college: Duke) added 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Wizards. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Raptors have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 43-16 record. Loser Wizards keep the fourth position with 34 games lost.
