The game in Kuala Lumpur was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Indonesian CLS Knights (9-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Malaysian Westports MD (6-10). Westports MD managed to secure a 5-point victory 89-84 on Thursday. It was a great evening for American forward Chris Eversley (201-91, college: Cal Poly - SLO) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import Winston Shepard (203-93, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 17 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side American-Nigerian power forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Westports MD maintains eighth place with 6-10 record. CLS Knights lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Westports MD will face higher ranked Singapore Slingers (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
