Regular Season Round 21: Naron - Innova Chef 73-86

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Naron (5-12) was defeated at home by third ranked Innova Chef (12-5) 86-73 on Saturday. Innova Chef made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game, while Naron only scored one point from the stripe. The best player for the winners was American swingman Vincent Dillard (196-92, college: Charleston) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Juan-Manuel Robles (194-96) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ruben Rey (198-93) who recorded 21 points and forward Martin Bello (195-97) added 19 points respectively. The victory was the third consecutive win for Innova Chef. They moved-up to second place in Group A-B, which they share with Chantada and Culleredo. Naron lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Innova Chef will face Betanzos (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naron will play against Un.Oviedo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
