Leader Ionikos Nikaias delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they crushed 12th ranked Evropi (7-11) 115-58. Ionikos Nikaias dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Evropi's 34. They outrebounded Evropi 41-25 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ionikos Nikaias players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Evropi's players. It was a good game for the former international center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Vaggelis Karaboulas (198-81) contributed with 24 points and 4 assists for the winners. Ionikos Nikaias' coach Dinos Kalabakos felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ionikos Nikaias (16-2) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Newly promoted Ionikos Nikaias maintains first position. Evropi at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Apollon Patras and Koroivos.
