Undefeated leader USK delivered the seventeenth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Synthesia (5-13) 83-62 in Praha. USK dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Synthesia's 24. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when USK made 10 blocks. The best player for the winners was Slovakian Marcel Batovsky (189-0) who scored 18 points and 4 blocks. Guard Marek Vyroubal (191-1) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Jakub Cejka (203-0) produced 20 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Krystof Bata (196-0) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK (17-0) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. Synthesia lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. USK are looking forward to face Snakes (#4) in Ostrava in the next round. Synthesia will play at home against Kondori (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
