No shocking result in a game in Ostrava where fourth ranked Snakes (12-6) defeated 7th ranked Sokol Prazsky (7-10) 82-69 on Sunday. Snakes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sokol Prazsky's players. Matous Kurecka (192-0) stepped up and scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and guard Dominik Lukac (190-0) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Richard Barac (195-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Richard Gottfried (165-1) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Snakes and four Sokol Prazsky players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Snakes. They maintain fourth place with 12-6 record. Sokol Prazsky at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Snakes will meet league's leader USK in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sokol Prazsky will play against Lokomotiva (#9) in Plzen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
