Very expected game when 10th ranked MK Technic (1-16) was smashed on the road by sixth ranked LOKO Trutnov (11-6) 103-74 on Sunday. LOKO Trutnov made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. LOKO Trutnov outrebounded MK Technic 55-27 including a 38-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Brittany Carter (183-93, college: Illinois) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Jordan Adams (185-94, college: USC) accounted for 24 points and 12 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!) for the winning side. Five LOKO Trutnov players scored in double figures. Swingman Tereza Zitkova (175-98) came up with 25 points and guard Hana Gasicova (171-98) added 19 points and 4 steals respectively for MK Technic in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for LOKO Trutnov. They maintain sixth place with 11-6 record. MK Technic lost their fourteenth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 16 games lost. LOKO Trutnov will meet league's second-placed KP Brno on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MK Technic will play against Basket Slovanka MB (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
