Second Stage Round 2: Ramla - Ramat Hen 66-65

The most exciting game of round 2 in the D1 took place in Ramla. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of Maccabi Ramat Gan (13-7) to Ramla (16-4) 66-65 on Thursday evening. American swingman Jaime Nared (188-95, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) saved the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import guard Allisha Gray (183-95, college: S.Carolina) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Kenyan-Canadian power forward Adut Bulgak (193-92, college: Florida St.) added 15 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Maccabi Ramat Gan. Maccabi Ramat Gan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ramla are looking forward to face Holon (#4) in Holon in the next round. Maccabi Ramat Gan will play at home against Bnot Hertzeliya and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
