Very expected game when 9th ranked Stuttgart (8-12) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked Saarlouis/Dillingen (12-8) 92-68 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American guard Ricky Easterling (189-83, college: Bridgewater) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Naturalized American swingman Xavier Williams (190-91, college: Holy Family) contributed with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Saarlouis/Dillingen players scored in double figures. American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and guard Marco Schlafke (187-82) added 19 points in the effort for Stuttgart. Saarlouis/Dillingen maintains fourth position in South-West with 12-8 record. Stuttgart lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. Saarlouis/Dillingen will face higher ranked Karlsruhe SC (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Stuttgart will play against Tuebingen II (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
