EBA top team - Gran Canaria II (18-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Daimiel (5-15) in Las Palmas 97-59. Gran Canaria II dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Daimiel's 32. They outrebounded Daimiel 60-30 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Montenegrin swingman Jovan Kljajic (198-1) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Oier Ardanza (195-1) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Gran Canaria II players scored in double figures. Cuban forward Georvys Elias (199-81) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Jose-Luis Otero (203-89) added 12 points in the effort for Daimiel.
