Semi-Finals Game 2: Denso Iris - JX-Eneos S. 60-80

JX-Eneos fired past Denso Iris to advance into WJBL Finals. The game was mostly controlled by JX-Eneos S.. Denso Iris was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Denso Iris 48-35 including 36 on the defensive glass. JX-Eneos S. players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 21 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Yuki Miyazawa (182-93, college: Queens, NY) chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four JX-Eneos S. players scored in double figures. JX-Eneos S.'s coach Kiyomi Sato used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International center Himawari Akaho (184-98) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Sakura Akaho (182-96) scored 20 points.
