Second Stage Round 3: Olomouc Bbal - USK Praha B 97-77

Very important is a road loss of USK Praha B (17-4) against Olomouc Bbal (14-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting USK Praha B was crushed by Olomouc Bbal in Olomouc 97-77. Olomouc Bbal dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha B's 36. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by USK Praha B's players. It was a great evening for forward Adam Urbanek (196-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!) (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Moldovan forward Evgeni Scripcaru (195-83) helped adding 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Olomouc Bbal's coach Michal Pekarek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Jakub Tuma (192-98) with 26 points and 5 rebounds and Slovakian Marcel Batovsky (189-0) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olomouc Bbal will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. USK Praha B will play at home against BK Prostejov B and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
