Regular Season Round 21: EBAA - Wolfpack/BMS 88-69

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked BMS Skovlunde (7-12) in Aarhus on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by second ranked EBAA (6-13) 88-69. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by EBAA. BMS Skovlunde managed to win fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. EBAA outrebounded BMS Skovlunde 46-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for international forward David Kristensen (210-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Marius Kirkholt (183-97) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. EBAA's coach Mads Sigersted used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Deionte Simmons (205-96, college: Chicago St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Austin Waddoups (188-93, college: Salt Lake CC, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for BMS Skovlunde. Four BMS Skovlunde players scored in double figures. Newly promoted EBAA maintains second place with 6-13 record having sixteen points less than leader Wolfpack/BMS. BMS Skovlunde at the other side still keeps top position with 12 games lost. EBAA are again looking forward to face league's leader BMS Skovlunde on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BMS Skovlunde will have a break next round.
