Regular Season Round 26: Slask Wroclaw - Pogon Prudnik 98-75

Leader Slask delivered the nineteenth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Pogon Prudnik (13-14) 98-75 in Wroclaw. They outrebounded Pogon Prudnik 45-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. Slask players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 assists. Power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Slask's coach Radoslaw Hyzy felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pogon Prudnik. Slask maintains first position with 19-7 record. Pogon Prudnik at the other side keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. Slask will play against AZS AGH KR (#15) in Krakow in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Pogon Prudnik will play at home against GKS Tychy (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
