Regular Season Round 19: Moycullen - Belfast Star 82-91

Very expected game when 12th ranked Moycullen (4-15) lost to fourth ranked Belfast Star (12-6) in Galway 82-91. Belfast Star made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Moycullen outrebounded Belfast Star 41-25 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Mike Davis (193-96, college: Queens, NC, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Spanish guard Sergio Vidal (194-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the losing side American swingman Isaiah Harris-Winn (193, college: E.Mennonite) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and forward Stephen Tummon (197-90) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Belfast Star maintains fourth place with 12-6 record. Moycullen lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Belfast Star will play against Killorglin (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Moycullen will have a break next round.
