Semi-Finals Game 2: Al Arabi - Al Sadd 72-76

Al Sadd defeated Al Arabi to even the series at 1-1. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Al Arabi won third quarter 19-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Al Sadd had a 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Bosnian-Serbian power forward Miroslav Todic (205-85) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and international point guard Moustafa-Essam Fouda (174-97) supported him with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Al Sadd players scored in double figures. Even 25 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals by the former international swingman Khalid Abdi (198-87) did not help to save the game for Al Arabi. American-Iraqi point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the hosts.
