Muharraq topped Al Ahli to advance into Finals. Muharraq made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Kevin Murphy (197-90, college: Tenn Tech) scored 32 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bader Abdulla chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Muharraq players scored in double figures. American-New Zealand forward Marcel Jones (203-85, college: Oregon St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Al-Ahli's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
