Finals Game 1: Wildcats - United 81-71

Perth Wildcats defeated the Melbourne United to take the lead in the championship series. Perth Wildcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Perth Wildcats made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Bryce Cotton (185-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Five Perth Wildcats players scored in double figures. American point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: Long Beach St.) answered with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Chris Goulding (192-88) added 15 points in the effort for United. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
