Finals Game 1: Al Shamal - Al Arabi 80-77

Al Shamal celebrated D1 title. They overcame Al Arabi in the title clash tonight. Al Arabi was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Algerian forward Mohamed Harath (198-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Georgian point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-86) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Four Al Shamal players scored in double figures. At the losing side Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 22 rebounds and American-Iraqi point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws).
