Very expected game when 16th ranked Desio (3-21) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked Urania Milano (15-9) 96-65 on Saturday. Urania Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Desio's 36 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Desio 31-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Urania Milano looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a good game for center Giorgio Piunti (205-90) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (187-97) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio Gustavo Musso (185-84) added 10 points and 7 assists in the effort for Desio. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
