Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Mannheim (9-14) beat at home 14th ranked Mainz (4-17) 73-56 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish Slawomir Klocek (192-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and center Max Bohrmann (207-91) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Mannheim players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kewan Beebe (183-93, college: Geneseo St.) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Fabian Bahlke (192-94) scored 9 points. Mainz's coach Christian Zander tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Mannheim have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place in South-West.
