Important game to mention about took place in Surabaya. Sixth ranked Indonesian CLS Knights (13-12) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Vietnamese Saigon Heat (12-12) 91-90 in the game for the sixth place. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 assists and American-Nigerian power forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Kyle Barone (203-89, college: Idaho) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five CLS Knights and four Saigon Heat players scored in double figures. CLS Knights have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 13-12 record. Saigon Heat lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost. CLS Knights will play against league's leader SM Beermen in Manila in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Saigon Heat will play at home against Singapore Slingers (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
