The game with biggest result difference took place in Zahle. Local Atlas F. (4-9) lost to seventh ranked Byblos (5-9) 84-71 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atlas F.. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Aaron Nelson (205-91, college: S.Indiana) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds and the other American import forward Malcolm Riley (196-93, college: Texas Southern) who added 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Byblos players scored in double figures. Byblos' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Ghassan Nehme (190, college: Fair Dickinson) responded with 25 points and 4 assists and point guard Joseph Zaloum (180-90) scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Byblos moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Atlas F. dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Moutahed.
