There was no surprise when 5th ranked Bambitious Nara (15-32) was crushed at home by second ranked Kumamoto V. (34-14) 91-66 on Saturday. Kumamoto V. shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) chipped in 8 points and 17 rebounds.
