There was no surprise in Ostrava where 7th ranked Lokomotiva (8-13) was crushed by fourth ranked Snakes (14-7) 94-67 on Saturday. Snakes shot 26 for 41 from the free-throw line, while Lokomotiva only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Lokomotiva 44-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. Lokomotiva was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Dominik Zak (202-1) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Matous Kurecka (192-0) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Snakes players scored in double figures. Forward Martin Mach (194-0) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Petr Baselides (199-0) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Snakes maintains fourth position with 14-7 record. Loser Lokomotiva keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. Snakes will face league's second-placed GBA Europe in Praha in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Lokomotiva will play on the road against Orli (#3) in Prostejov and hope to win that game.
