Regular Season Round 49: Fukushima - Shinshu BW 86-74

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Shinshu BW (39-10) on the court of fourth ranked Fukushima on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Fukushima 86-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Shinshu BW. Fukushima made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Richard Roby (198-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Shinshu BW. Fukushima maintains fourth place with 21-28 record. Shinshu BW at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. Fukushima are looking forward to face league's leader Gunma at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Shinshu BW will play against Nishinomiya S. in Hyogo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
