There was a minor upset in Paderborn where 5th ranked Rostock Seawolves (9-7) were rolled over by seventh ranked Uni Baskets (6-10) 95-73 on Sunday. Uni Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Rostock Seawolves' 28. They outrebounded Rostock Seawolves 51-33 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Uni Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Rostock Seawolves' players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Hasan Demirbas (185-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and center Finn Fleute (205-0) who added 25 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Uni Baskets players scored in double figures. Serbian Filip Skobalj (202-2) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Nicolas Buchholz (200-1) scored 17 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uni Baskets moved-up to sixth place in Group 1, which they share with Berlin T. Loser Rostock Seawolves dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
