The game in Taipei was also quite interesting. Second ranked Taiwan Beer (21-12) played at the court of 5th ranked Dacin Tigers (16-17). Taiwan Beer did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 99-82 on Friday. Taiwan Beer outrebounded Dacin Tigers 43-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Dacin Tigers' players. The winners were led by Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 32 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian swingman Edvinas Seskus (196-95) supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Five Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. Even 26 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals by American guard OJ Mayo (193-87, college: USC) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. His fellow American import center Anthony McClain (211-88, college: Cincinnati) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fubon Braves. Dacin Tigers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 17 games lost. Taiwan Beer will meet league's leader Fubon Braves in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dacin Tigers will play against the league's leader Fubon Braves (#1) and hope to secure a win.
