There was no surprise when 11th ranked Fellbach (8-15) was crushed on the road by first ranked Speyer (23-1) 111-78 on Saturday. Speyer made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Speyer outrebounded Fellbach 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard DJ Woodmore (190-92, college: Va.Wesleyan) who scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized Russian forward Albert Kuppe (200-88) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Speyer players scored in double figures.
