Semi-Finals Game 1: Gimle BBK - Baerum Basket 78-64

Gimle BBK overcame Baerum Basket in the semifinal opener. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle BBK. Baerum Basket managed to win second period 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Baerum Basket 43-27 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Eivind Lamo (195-96) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Gimle BBK's coach Audun Eskeland used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Stian Mjos (183-89) answered with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American swingman Michael Zeno (198-95, college: New Orleans) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Baerum Basket.
