Quarter-Finals Round 1: BC Lulea - Jamtland 97-92

BC Lulea overcame Jamtland to take the lead. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-21. But KFUM Jamtland won second period 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Lulea shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by KFUM Jamtland helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) stepped up and scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Tavarius Shine (198-94, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). At the losing side international point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) responded with 24 points and 4 assists and American-Latvian forward Andrew Smith (206-92, college: Liberty) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
